Everyone  knows  about  the  electric  cars and  electric  scooters . Today  we  will  discuss  about  the  public  transport . The    electric  buses  are  first  produced  in  France  .

The Oreos 2X is a 22-places electric minibus of Gepebus line made by Power Vehicle Innovation.The Oreos 2X is among the first electric transportation vehicle  of this kind to be produced in France.Entirely electric, this minibus lowers the environmental impact of transport for local authorities or private actors in need of this kind of vehicle.

• Maximal speed: more than 70 km/h (43.5 Mph)
• Range: 120km (70mi)
• Energy recovery rate (during brake or deceleration phases) : around 20%
• The Oreos 2X uses lithium-ion batteries which can be reloaded without the use of a charger battery, because this charger is included in the bus.

Equipment

The Oreos 2X has been designed for the transportation of a maximum number of 22 people, including 13 seated places. The bus can also be equipped with a disabled people access system.

Operation

Oreos 2X are running in the public transpor network of the cities of Provins operated by Procars,^[2] and in the city of Chevreuse , operated by SAVAC.

According to one survey there are 1.2 billion vehicles running on-road or off-road.

No one think about the exhaust gases emit by these vehicles.

About 52% of carbon monoxide was emitted by vehicles in USA .

We people are burning gasoline , polluting our environment etc.

Do you ever think What will happen at the end of this century?

We will run out of gasoline. Yeah! I'm  serious .

  

So, what we will do ?

The second choice which is left is ELECTRIC AUTO MOBILES.

At present their are many production battery vehicles.

Now, I will let you know about the advantages of using electric vehicles;

1. No Gas Required: The electric cars completely runs on electricity so you don't have to pay for gasoline. An American spent about $2000 -4000 per year on gas.

2. No Emission/Environment friendlily:  Electric cars are 100 percent eco-friendly as they run on electrically powered engines. It does not emit toxic gases or smoke in the environment as it runs on clean energy.

3.Cost Effective: Earlier, owing an electric car would cost a bomb. But with more technological advancements, both cost and maintenance have gone down. The mass production of batteries and available tax incentives have further brought down the cost, thus,making it much more cost effective.
